I’ve been pretty busy the last couple of days, so I haven’t been able to sit down and really take in the games. However I have been doing some drive by baseball viewing. You know, where you have the game on in the background. You peek at it every time you walk through the room. You run in when you hear the crowd cheer or you hear Staats raise his voice.
I feel a little guilty when I don’t give the Rays my full attention but in my defense they are playing the A’s. The A’s are blah. I don’t hate them, but I don’t like them either. I really dislike their uniforms, especially the shoes. White shoes might look okay with their home white pants, but on the road with gray pants and green socks? Yuck. It was nice to see Gabe Gross, and Ryan Sweeney is super cute, but I didn’t know any of the other guys.
How ’bout them Rays? They just keep rolling along. The starting pitching has been good and when they make a mistake the offense is there to pick them up. They even gave James Shields run support. It’s been a really fun way to start the season. I’m like the drunk guy at a party going around hugging everyone and slurring “I love you guys.”
See you tomorrow night. Go Rays!

Let’s Go To A Ballgame? I did not see you. Let’s practice what we preach
Well Charlie if you would have scrolled down you would have seen that I did go to the game on Friday. I replied to your comment to let you know that I didn’t get it until after I got home. I also said I would visit you next time I get out to a game, but I’m rethinking that since you rarely have anything nice to say to me.
I see your correct and I jumped the gun. “Sorry” I guess I have just been sick and tired of hearing all the reasons people can’t go to the game. This is the BEST TEAM in baseball. I don’t care where they play, the excuses will still be there. I was talking to some season ticket holders yesterday and when I walked into the group all that I could hear was “If they move the Trop to the FAIR Grounds they will loose me. I will not CROSS THE BRIDGE” Same thing different day. Hippocrates I know people have less money these days and the same is true for me. One blogger said that he has kids to feed and can’t afford to go to the game, but then he said he would be going to the bar to watch it. HELLO!!! a beer is more money than the $8 ticket to go to the game. It is time to show our ALLEGIANCE guys. There are some who just can’t do it but most of the excuses are just BS. Your still invited to come see us, please do. Sec 310 row A seat 24-23
PS will not be there tonight. First game we will miss this year. Will be Sat & Sun.
GO RAYS
I probably won’t be able to go to another game until school gets out. Maybe I’ll see you then?
