Sorry for the programming delay, but four o’clock games are not exactly ideal in my world. I did however catch the last half of last night’s game, but I was pretty much out of gas by the time it was over. Good thing nobody really depends on this blog for anything.
When I got home it was 3-0 and Sonny was still pitching in the 7th. That was a very pleasant surprise. I had dreamed up many number of terrible scenarios in my head on the way home. Then all those scenarios came to fruition and the game fell apart. Those damn Yankees tied it up.
Thankfully Sir Carlos Pena was able to put the game back together again. Rays win!
Also as a bonus Navi and BJ are starting to hit a bit. Yippee. BJ almost got himself some time in the penalty box though. He was jaw jackin the umpire after a strikeout. Swisher had already been tossed earlier in the game for the same thing. Swisher must have called him a cocksucker huh?
Let’s hope the Rays can get the sweep tonight of these weird two game sets, and move into third place. Then they can work on catching the Red Sox. Well we’re movin on up…
On a serious note I want you to close your eyes and imagine something very dark. Imagine a world where you have to search high and low, sifting through all the garbage of the Internet on a daily basis to find relevant Rays material to ponder. I don’t know about you but that sounds brutal. That’s what a world without Rays Index would be like. Sure there are other sites out there providing great content, but none of them lay out your Rays reading for you every morning. The site has many other wonderful features but the daily links set it apart. If you are here, I’m sure you’re familiar with the Professor’s work, so tell your friends. Trust me, you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.
