Navi Knocked Up

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving, since as Rays fans we definitely have a lot to be thankful for this year.

While stuffing my face this weekend I decided that Dioner Navarro should be the next one honored in the Rays as Leading Men series.  Mostly because I believe he could eat more turkey than any other Ray.   Except maybe Percy, but I’m not happy with him right now…

Navi is not your typical leading man, but he definitely could pull off Ben Stone from Knocked Up, originally played by Seth Rogen.  Ben is kind of a slacker who grows up during the film.  Navi was a slacker that Rays fans saw grow into a fine young catcher.

Ben has curly hair and is a little chubby.  Navi has curly hair, and is also a little portly, hence the nickname the fat catcher.  However both are funny and totally cute in their own way.

Both men score pretty girls and are fertile.  Plus you know Navi has friends that would totally fart into pillows!

There is one difference though.  I bet Navi actually knows how to dance.  I doubt the dice thing is all he’s got.

In the end, although Navi is a little rough around the edges, he came through, and there’s no one else we’d rather have behind the plate.  Go Rays!
