Sorry I haven’t posted lately, but the Rays were kind of in limbo there. We didn’t know who they were gonna play. We don’t know the playoff roster. Plus people have been on my nerves lately so I didn’t have anything fun to say.
The Rays face off against the White Sox tomorrow. You know what that means? Thing one and thing two are in town, Nick Swisher and AJ Pierzynski. *shudder*
The good new is that most of the other teams from the central hate the White Sox so the Rays inherit a bunch of fans for this series.
We should know the playoff roster soon. I feel for the guys that aren’t sure whether they’ll have a spot. I guess it’s the nature of baseball, but it seems like they’ve had so much fun getting to this point, and it must suck to be left behind. Especially since everyone contributed in some way. I hope they know the fans appreciate them.
I also hope that Staats and Magrane know that we appreciate them, or at least I do. It’s going to be weird listening to someone else. Karen for one is not happy that the Red Sox announcer will be calling the Rays game. All I know is he’s got to be better than the White Sox guys.
It’s officially October, let the good time roll!
Twins fan here, and I’m right there with all the rest of the Sox haters. Go Rays! Garza pitches on Sunday (my favorite!), and I hope Pierzynski gets his ass kicked!
