If they manage to get the game in on Saturday (no dome here) the Rays fans that show up and the TV audience will finally find out what loud is. By the bad calls being "even" are you referring to that so-called balk by Hamels on Wednesday? Maybe Pena would have gotten the call if he hadn't left a half hour early. The Phillies can't whine about the umpires when they're something like 1 for 28 with runners in scoring position. If, as they say, good pitching beats good hitting then it isn't any wonder how Hames won game 1 and Shields won game 2. Now, we'll see if the Herculean reputation surrounding Matt (I spit therefore I am) Garza is justified. If I can manage to keep watching through his fountain of saliva I'll let you know.
