Simmer down now son.

You know what was really refreshing about this game.  It was the playoffs and the Rays still looked the same to me.

Shields made a mistake early but still went deep into the game.
Longo made being awesome look easy.  Nothing like batting a thousand in his first playoff game.
Barty was super, and looked super doing it.
Balfour was cussing at people.
JP, or as TBS called him, CJ, was solid.
Wheeler made it interesting.  You think the closer position has been jinxed?  Everyone seems to have trouble with it. 

A couple of things were different though.

Pena scratched his eye at home the night before the Rays first postseason game?  What a bummer.  Hope he’s alright and can play tomorrow.  Although Willy filled in nicely.

Oh and Orlando Cabrera isn’t fond of Balfour’s swearing at everyone.  He’s the second person to take exception to this.  It’s Grant’s way of getting pumped up, but it might bite him in the ass someday.  That day wasn’t today though, since he sent Cabrera back to his seat.

Rays win!  In the playoffs!  Don’t wake me up!
