Just wanted to let you all, and by all I mean the Her Rays nation, that I’m leaving today to go on vacation. How does this affect us??
Me – I might go into Rays withdrawal. I will be trying to watch the games and keep up on everything, but I might actually have to visit with family or something. Ugh. 
I will be surrounded by Tigers fans, and this will be the first year I can wear my Rays gear and wear it proud! Wish me the best.
Her Rays Nation – I don’t know how you fifteen people will survive. I mean after all this is high quality stuff that one can’t live without. I will try to post as often as I can, but there will be barbecues and beer everywhere I go so forgive me if I get distracted.
Tonight I will be on the road, but I’m looking forward to hearing that the Rays swept the Red Sox. Kazmir pitched awesome. Longo made more spectacular plays. Carl and BJ made diving catches and stole a record number of bases. Jason Bartlett hit a home run against Papelboner. Too much??

that’s very sad for us. But have a great trip.
Not exactly what happened, but good enough. Longoria was great and Bartlett contributed significantly on offense as did Crawford. And Upton did make a terrific play to save the game in the 9th.
Enjoy the trip, and be gracious to the Tiger fans.

7 game win streak, the intro of baby face Brignac, going for a 2nd straight sweep and a 5 game lead. Just wanted to do a short recap of what you were missing.
