Game 42 - Rays vs. Cardinals
By Jessica | May 16, 2008
Sonny steals the show!
He can pitch, he can hit, he can bunt, he can run, and he’s cute. 5 tool player. Total package. He pitched eight innings, had two hits and a sac bunt. Not one single walk. His only mistake was a homerun in the 8th, but the Rays won 3-1.
What a strike zone this ump had. The outside corners were approximations evidently. Maddon even jaw-jacked him a little bit.
The Rays are just getting it done right now. Sonny pitched great. Pujols and Ankiel were bageled. Percy finished it off. They also played some great defense. Longo is a stud in the field. Love him. Upton made some nice catches too. Hinske made one nice catch and one not so nice catch. The offense was rollin. 12 hits, and 3 of them were doubles. Aki went 3-5. Which is super.
Keep up the good work guys. Go Rays!!
