Game 40 - Yankees vs. Rays

By Jessica | May 14, 2008

Just not into it.

Have you ever found yourself driving along and then all of a sudden you realize you have no idea where you are or how long you’ve been on autopilot?  That’s how it was for me tonight watching the game.  I was staring at the TV, watching Bartlett bat for example, when all of a sudden I notice it’s Aki batting.  And no I did not slip into some daydream about Barty.  This time at least.  So I’d have to rewind just to see that Bartlett grounded out.  Maybe the game was boring or maybe I just wasn’t into it.

The Rays didn’t play bad, they just didn’t win.  New York 2 - Tampa 1.  Shields pitched a solid game, but didn’t get any run support.  Mussina seems to confuse the Rays offense.  Too much off speed stuff.

See, I’m not even into this blog post.  All this winning and excitement has left me a little drained.  I better start training.  If the Rays are going to keep winning and breaking records and holding down the AL East, I’m going to need to be ready for it.

Anyway they lost tonight.  No biggy.  Hopefully they can win the series tomorrow.  Go Rays!!

Oh, Kazmir got a shiny deal and will be sticking around so if you don’t have his jersey in your collection it’s time to add it.

Oh Oh, not very many clicks to my vote for CC link.  C’mon, he’d do it for you.

Peace Out.
